The Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-view Sensor (SeaWiFS) viewed dust in the skies over the northern Persian Gulf again today, Thursday, March 27, 2003. Also visible (in the full-resolution image) are a few plumes of dark smoke over the Fertile Crescent to the east ofRazazah Lake. More detail can be seen in the related MODIS images.
