Wildfires continue to rage across Colorado and the western United States. This image from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer on NASA's Terra satellite shows the fires on the morning of Tuesday, June 11, 2002. Heavy smoke is visible southwest of Denver from the Hayman Fire. See high-resolution scene for an image of the entire state.
