Amendment 48: Release of E.8 Physical Sciences Informatics Final Text and Due Dates.

E.8 Physical Sciences Informatics solicits proposals that utilize data (listed in Table A of this program element) from the Physical Sciences Informatics (PSI) system (https://www.nasa.gov/PSI) an online database of: completed physical science reduced-gravity flight experiments conducted on the International Space Station (ISS), Space Shuttle flights, X-37B, Free Flyers, or commercial cargo flights to and from the ISS, and completed physical science ground-based experiments.

The proposals must show a clear path from the scientific data obtained from the PSI system to the proposed investigation. In addition, the project must address an important problem in the proposed area of research and advance scientific knowledge or technology. The scope of the proposed work is unrestricted except that the use of data in the PSI database must comprise a substantial portion of the research.

ROSES-2022 Amendment 48 releases final text and due dates for E.8 Physical Sciences Informatics. Notices of intent are requested by October 31, 2022, and the due date for proposals is January 10, 2023.

On or about September 15, 2022, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2022" (NNH22ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2022.
