Amendment 43: Solar Orbiter Guest Investigators Delay of Step-2 Due Date

B.23 The Solar Orbiter Guest Investigators (SO-GI) Program solicits proposals focused on analysis of data from the Solar Orbiter mission. This program is intended to maximize the scientific return from the mission by providing support for research beyond the scope of work of the mission science teams. Principal Investigators (PIs) and Co-Investigators (Co-Is) from selected proposals will be named Guest Investigators of Solar Orbiter for the duration of the award and will be invited to attend and present progress at Solar Orbiter team meetings.

ROSES-2023 Amendment 43 delays the Step-2 proposal due date for B.23 SOGI. Step-2 proposals are now due October 11, 2023. Also, the number of new awards pending adequate proposals of merit has been updated. New text is in bold.

On or about September 6, 2023, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2023" (NNH23ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2023

Questions concerning B.23 SOGI may be directed to Simon Plunkett at simon.p.plunkett@nasa.gov.
