Amendment 59: Several Physical Science Program Elements Not Solicited This Year.
The Physical Sciences Research program aims to understand the effects of reduced gravity and the space environment on fluids, materials, soft matter, biophysics, combustion and fundamental physics. The Physical Sciences Research program conducts experiments in space, in Earth-based reduced-gravity platforms and ground facilities, and conducts computational and theoretical investigations, to advance scientific knowledge in the disciplines of physical science, and to understand the effects of gravity and the space environment on physical systems.
ROSES-2023 Amendment 59 announces that a set of Physical Sciences program elements that were TBD on release of ROSES are not solicited this year but may be solicited in ROSES-2024. These elements are:
E.4 Combustion Science,
E.5 Fluid Physics, and
E.7 Materials Science.
Questions concerning any of these Physical Science programs may be directed to BPS-PhysicalSciences@nasaprs.com.
