Amendment 107: F.5 FINESST Graduate Student Research Opportunity: Due Date Delay and Other Important Updates

F.5 Future Investigators in NASA Earth and Space Science and Technology (FINESST) solicits proposals for graduate student-designed and performed research projects relevant to NASA’s Science Mission Directorate.

The most important change made by Amendment 107 is that the proposal due date for F.5 FINESST has been delayed to February 26, 2025.

Other updates include:

  1. Corrections to the review criteria in Sections 5.2.1 and 5.2.3
  2. Section 4.1.6 has been clarified regarding optional biosketches for any mentor who is not the PI.
  3. The checklist in Section 10 has been updated.
  4. Changes to account creation and management other unexpected technical challenges for those who want to request the optional NASA High End Computing resources are found in textbox at the very end of Section 4.2, and Section 12.28 “How do I generate a request for HEC Resources”.

New text is in bold and deleted text is struck through.
