Amendment 33: A.27 NISAR Research and Applications Science Team Deferred to ROSES-25

When it is solicited, A.27 NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar Mission (NISAR) Research and Applications Science Team (NISAR RAST) will request proposals for innovative research that utilize NISAR data and data products to advance our understanding of Earth processes and provide social benefits. The TBD placeholder noted that it "will be released after the launch of NISAR…" The launch date for NISAR has slipped to early 2025 because of technical issues with the radar reflector. As a result, A.27 NISAR Research and Applications Science Team Deferred to ROSES-2025.

ROSES-2024 Amendment 33 announces that A.27 NISAR RAST is no longer solicited in ROSES-2024.We anticipate that it will be solicited in ROSES-2025.

On or about July 18, 2024, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2024" (NNH24ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2024 Questions concerning A.27 NISAR RAST may be directed to Gerald Bawden, at gerald.w.bawden@nasa.gov.
