Amendment 80: D.12 Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics Networks Deferred to ROSES-25

D.12 Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics Networks (TCAN) was established in response to the New Worlds, New Horizons report of the Astro2010 Decadal Survey, with the following goals:

  • To support coordinated efforts in fundamental theory and computational techniques in order to make groundbreaking advances in astrophysics;
  • To strengthen theoretical and computational astrophysics in the U.S. by uniting researchers in collaborative networks that cross institutional and geographical divides; and,
  • To advance the training of the future workforce of theoretical and computational scientists.

ROSES-2024 Amendment 80 announces that D.12 TCAN, which was TBD in ROSES-24, has been deferred to ROSES-2025, so it is no longer solicited in ROSES-2024.

On or about December 6 2024, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2024” (NNH24ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2024

Questions concerning D.12 TCAN may be directed to Sanaz Vahidinia at sanaz.vahidinia@nasa.gov.
