Correction to B.3 Living With a Star Science
B.3 Living With a Star Science (LWS) emphasizes the science necessary to understand those aspects of the coupled Sun-Earth system that affect life and society. The overarching goal of the LWS Program is to provide advances in scientific understanding of this system that can lead to predictive capability of the space environment conditions at Earth, other planetary systems, and in the interplanetary medium. This program uses a 2-step proposal submission process. Step-2 proposals can only be submitted by those who submitted a Step-1 proposal and were invited to submit a Step-2.
B.3 Living With a Star Science (LWS) has been corrected to indicate that a redacted budget and narrative is no longer requested as part of the Expertise and Resources Not Anonymized Document, see Table B.3-2 in Section 5.3. Deleted text is struck through. Step-2 proposals are due June 22, 2026.
On or about May 26, 2026, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2025" (NNH25ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2025
