Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Science (ROSES)-2025 to be Released on or Shortly After Mid-February 2025.

NASA's Science Mission Directorate (SMD) is planning to release its annual omnibus solicitation for basic and applied research, Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Science (ROSES) 2025 as NNH25ZDA001N on or shortly after mid-February 2025, at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2025

ROSES is an omnibus solicitation, with many individual program elements, each with its own due dates and topics. Tables 2 and 3 of this NRA, that will be posted at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2025table2 and https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2025table3, respectively, will provide proposal due dates and hypertext links to descriptions of the solicited program elements in the Appendices of this NRA on or about mid-February 2025. Together, these program elements cover the wide range of basic and applied supporting research and technology in space and Earth sciences supported by SMD.

After release https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/faqs/#faq-1 will provide a list of what’s new in ROSES this year.

Full (Step-2) Proposals will be due no earlier than May 14, 2025.
