Sol 1475: Left Navigation Camera, Cylindrical Perspective

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity took 19 images in Gale Crater using its mast-mounted Left Navigation Camera (Navcam) to create this mosaic. The seam-corrected mosaic provides a 360-degree cylindrical-perspective projection panorama of the Martian surface suitable for stereo viewing, centered at 348 degrees azimuth (measured clockwise from north). This single-eye view must be combined with the partner right image to be viewed in stereo.  Curiosity took the images on September 30, 2016, Sol 1475 of the Mars Science Laboratory mission at drive 912, site number 58. The local mean solar time for the image exposures was 3 PM.
