New Mexico Space Grant Hosts My NASA Data and GLOBE In Teacher Workshop
On July 22, 2021, NASA Langley’s Elizabeth Joyner and Angela Rizzi presented at the New Mexico Space Grant’s “NASA in the Classroom” Educator Workshop to 21 teachers from across the state. Teachers learned about the GLOBE Program and LaRC’s My NASA Data. They also learned how to use NASA Earth data via the Earth System Data Explorer to investigate a local phenomenon – the Johnson Fire in the Gila National Park. Teachers practiced data analysis activities from My NASA Data to explore GRACE Soil Moisture data from the park’s location.
