2023 Webb Science Snippets: Nature of the Universe
What is the James Webb Space revealing about the nature of the universe?
Adam Riess from STScI and Johns Hopkins University, Ciáran Rogers from Leiden University, and Janice Lee from STScI tell us that with Webb’s high resolution and sensitivity, astronomers are acquiring more precise data that are leading to new and improved insights on dust, dark energy, and the formation and influence of stars. Their research was presented at The First Year of JWST Science Conference, held September 11-14, 2023, at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.
