- Todd Thompson, Chair of the Astronomy Department at OSU who is an expert in Theoretical Astrophysics, SNe, GRBs, and Starburst Galaxies will present his perspective on how gamma-ray missions can impact the broader astrophysics landscape.
- This will be followed by a 20-min update on the Future LArge Gamma-ray mission concepts (FLAG) Working Group activities and what changed with NASA's ASTRA Initiative (https://science.nasa.gov/astrophysics/programs/cosmic-origins/community/nasa-astrophysics-division-announces-astra-initiative/), presented by Liz Hays (and Henric Krawczynski).
