Cultural Star Knowledge Booklet

In this activity learners make a booklet about star knowledge around the world, and write their own stories. For thousands of years, people across the world have looked up at the night sky and marveled at what they saw. Although the International Astronomical Union recognizes 88 official constellations (groups of stars that appear to form a pattern or picture), cultures across the world and throughout time have created their own constellations, often reflecting the people, animals, and objects important in their lives.
