Amendment 84: F.6 Science Activation Program Deferred to ROSES-25.

The Science Mission Directorate Science Activation Program (SciAct) seeks to connect diverse learners of all ages with NASA science experts, exciting NASA content, and authentic science experiences. Through value-based decision making, relationship and community building, intentional and independent evaluation, efficient coordination of mutually reinforcing activities, and open and continuous communication, SciAct helps create learner pathways to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills, identities and careers as well as a more STEM-aware public. The program began in 2016 and is currently in phase 2.0; the second phase of 5-year awards. When it is solicited in ROSES-25, Program element F.6 Science Activation Program will request proposals for projects to participate in SciAct 3.0, for calendar years 2026-2030.

ROSES-2024 Amendment 84 announces that F.6 Science Activation Program, which was TBD in ROSES-24, has been deferred to ROSES-2025. F.6 Science Activation is no longer solicited in ROSES-2024.

On or about December 18, 2024, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2024" (NNH24ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2024.
