Sol 0589: Right Navigation Camera, Cylindrical Perspective

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity took 3 images in Gale Crater using its mast-mounted Right Navigation Camera (Navcam) to create this mosaic. The seam-corrected mosaic provides a 109-degree cylindrical-perspective projection panorama of the Martian surface suitable for stereo viewing, centered at 346 degrees azimuth (measured clockwise from north). This single-eye view must be combined with the partner left image to be viewed in stereo.  Curiosity took the images on April 03, 2014, Sol 589 of the Mars Science Laboratory mission at drive 0, site number 31. The local mean solar time for the image exposures was 2 PM.
