Multimedia | Grades 6-12+ | Ever since the Voyager 1 mission crossed the heliopause, scientists at NASA have used data sent back from the edge of the solar system to more closely investigate the relationship between the Sun, the heliosphere, and the vast region of interstellar space beyond.

These four resources from the Heliophysics Resource Database offer learners and educators a closer examination of the continuing legacy of the Voyager missions. They include problems designed to get students involved in applicable mathematics concepts, information about the history and results of the missions, and a larger picture of the fleet of spacecraft used by NASA heliophysicists to study our Sun and its relationship with the rest of the solar system. Each resource has been indexed to the Framework for Heliophysics Education and brought in line with Next Generation Science Standards to ensure ease of use.
