Subject: ROSES-23 Amendment 58: New Opportunity: A.66 CYGNSS for Action: Phase-1 Studies

A.66 CYGNSS for Action: Phase-1 Studies solicits proposals to perform studies to develop an implementable strategy to link the data and capabilities from the Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS) mission to external stakeholders for use in their decision-making processes. Each of the (approximately four) Phase-1 teams selected from proposals to this element will be funded for one year at approximately $100K to develop their study report and will be invited to subsequently submit a Phase-2 proposal based on their Phase-1 Study Reports.

ROSES-2023 Amendment 58 releases a new program element: A.66 CYGNSS for Action: Phase-1 Studies. Notices of intent are requested by December 7, 2023, and proposals are due January 23, 2024.

This program element is distinct and separate from A.26 CYGNSS Competed Science Team, which was released October 19, 2023. The bold notice at the top of A.26 has been updated to reflect the release of this new program element.
